With the progress of CPS and IoT technologies, a variety of structural changes are taking place today throughout the entire industry. In line with the concept of a super-smart society, “Society 5.0,” proposed by the Japanese government, we will aim to achieve “Connected Industries,” which form the backbone of “Society 5.0,” as a way of connecting everything, and then offering people new added value. While the social issues we face today are complicated, various initiatives to resolve them will be presented in this keynote address.
