The country which ranks highly as one of the most innovative in the world: Singapore. The city-state’s strengths in innovation combined with its record and expertise in manufacturing translates into a strong ability to realise advanced manufacturing.
With the advent of advanced manufacturing technologies, there is a growing trend of global manufacturers, including leading Japanese companies, making Singapore their first operations to adopt industrial internet of thing (IoT).
How is IoT being applied by manufacturing companies in Singapore? How is Singapore partnering global companies in their IoT journey? Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) will deliver the latest information on IoT developments in Singapore alongside Boston Consulting Group and Siemens.
Seizing opportunities in IOT in Asia Pacific
- Mr. Niwa, Managing Director and Partner of Boston Consulting Group Japan, will present on how Industry 4.0 is evolving the manufacturing industry globally. Shaping the Digital Enterprise
- In his presentation, Mr. Kanazawa will introduce the Siemens Digital Enterprise strategy and its first fully integrated Digitalization Hub, which was just launched in Singapore this July. He will discuss the adoption of IoT amongst manufacturing companies in Japan and Southeast Asia, as well as Siemens IoT initiatives with partners in Singapore and Japan.
